How to manage Meeting’s Permissions in V.connct 3

This feature allows you to view and manage meeting’s settings within the application.

There are 2 ways to manage Meeting’s Permissions
1st way: Manage user’s permissions individually:

2) Select the user to whom you will want to manage their setting.

3) Click on the three dots beside the user’s name.

b) Lock/Unlock Webcam: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their video.
c) Lock/Unlock Screen Sharing: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their screens.
d) Lock/Unlock Whiteboard: Prevents or allows participants from using the whiteboard.
e) Lock/Unlock Shared Notepad: Prevents or allows participants from editing the shared notepad.
f) Lock/Unlock Chat: Prevents or allows participants from viewing and sending messages in the chat.
g) Lock/Unlock Send Chat Message: Prevents or allows participants from sending messages in the chat.
h) Lock/Unlock Send File: Prevents or allows participants from sharing files in the chat.

Choose the setting you prefer and control your users by following these steps.
2nd way: manage the entire Room’s Settings:



In the new tab, you can turn the following on or off:
b) Lock Webcams: If you turn it on, participants won't be able to use their webcam.
c) Lock screen sharing: If you turn it on, participants won't be able to share their screen.
d) Lock Whiteboard: If you turn it on, participants will not be able to use the whiteboard.
e) Lock Shared Notepad: If you turn it on, participants will not be able to use their shared notepad.
f) Lock Chat: If you turn it on, participants will not be able to chat.
g) Lock Send Message: If you turn it on, participants will not be able to send a message.
h) Lock Chat File Share: If you turn it on, participants will not be able to share files.
i) Lock private chat: If you turn it on, participants will not be able to send private messages.

Note: The lock features are aimed at the participants; therefore, the moderators are not affected.

4) A menu will appear:
b) Set as Presenter: Let a user share their screen or files.
Note: If you click on “Set as Presenter”, this notification will appear as you can only assign moderators as presenters.

d) Remove Participant: Remove someone out of the meeting.

5) When you click on “Manage Permissions” this page will appear:
a) Microphone: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their audio.
b) Camera: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their video.
c) Screen Sharing: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their screens.
d)Whiteboard: Prevents or allows participants from using the whiteboard.
e) Shared Notepad: Prevents or allows participants from editing the shared notepad.
f) Viewing Chat: Prevents or allows participants from viewing and sending messages in the chat.
g) Private Chatting: Prevents or allows participants from sending private messages in the chat.
h) Chatting: Prevents or allows participants from sending messages in the chat.
i) Send Files: Prevents or allows participants from sharing files in the chat.

a) Microphone: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their audio.
b) Camera: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their video.
c) Screen Sharing: Prevents or allows participants from sharing their screens.
d)Whiteboard: Prevents or allows participants from using the whiteboard.
e) Shared Notepad: Prevents or allows participants from editing the shared notepad.
f) Viewing Chat: Prevents or allows participants from viewing and sending messages in the chat.
g) Private Chatting: Prevents or allows participants from sending private messages in the chat.
h) Chatting: Prevents or allows participants from sending messages in the chat.
i) Send Files: Prevents or allows participants from sharing files in the chat.
