User list setting in V.connct classroom

Once connected to the meeting, all users (moderator, presenter and viewer) will appear in the user list panel on the left of the interface. 

When you click on [1] the user panel you will be able to see all the participants in the session [2]. 

User panel as a User

If you are a viewer “User” in the meeting.

1) Click on any user in the meeting, a side panel will appear.

2) Select private chat, to send a private message only to this user.


User panel as a Presenter

If you took the presenter role in the session.

- Click on any other user and a side panel with two options will open.

[1] send a private chat to this user or [2] give Whiteboard access to this user and allow this user to use the whiteboard writing tools. 


User panel as a Moderator

When you are the moderator of the session, click on any user and a side panel will appear with all of these options:

1) Start a private chat : send the selected user a private chat message.

2) Give whiteboard access : allow this user to use the whiteboard writing tools.

3) Make presenter: make the selected user the presenter.

4) Promote to moderator : upgrade the current user to a moderator role.

5) Unlock student: restrict or "Unlock" this viewer's ability to access media and other components as applied in the lock viewers settings.

6) Remove user: remove the selected user from the session. It is important to note that removing a user does not restrict their ability to re-enter the session.

Open V.connct Meet application and start or join a meeting. 

Once connected to the meeting, all users (moderator, presenter and viewer) will appear in the user list panel to the left of the interface.

When you click on the user panel you will be able to see all the participants in the session.

  • Note: Once you’ve removed a user, you can’t get him to rejoin the meeting.
