Access the Options Menu in V.connct Classroom

The options menu in the upper right-hand corner of the V.connct interface houses specific application settings and information for troubleshooting purposes. 

To open the menu select the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. 

There are several options available within the Menu:

Make full screen [1] enables full-screen mode.

Settings [2] access additional application settings.

Help [3] directs to V.connct Help Center.

Keyboard Shortcuts [4] provides a list of hotkeys for quick keyboard navigation.

Manage Layout [5] according to your preference.

Leave Meeting [6] logs out of the meeting. 

End meeting for all [7] to completely close the meeting.

The Settings menu houses several features that a user can enable or disable to customize their experience in the V.connct meeting. 

Subsections of the settings menu include the applications menu and data savings menu.

Application menu:

•  The V.connct Animations [1] (enabled by default).
• Audio Filters for Microphone [2] to cancel the noise around the mic source.
•  Dark Mode [3] to change the color scheme of your interface, Auto Hide   Whiteboard Toolbars [4] to automatically minimizes or hides the whiteboard interface when it's not actively being used. 
•  Disable Self-view (all cameras) [5] to stop the user from seeing their own video feed or self-view. 
• Auto close the reactions bar [6] automatically hides or closes the reactions bar after a certain period of time. 
• Language [7] To change the default language selected from the list of available languages found in the application drop-down.
• Font Size [8], to make the font larger, select the “+,” and to decrease the font size select the “-.” 

Select Save to apply any changes made or Cancel to return to the meeting.

Notifications:

In V.connct, you have complete control of how you get notified about all actions and activities that happened in the meeting and related to your role.

You can choose to be notified by audio sound or by popups when your chat pane or users list is minimized.

The shown alert will appear when receiving a chat message while allowing Popup Alerts.

Data Savings:

Settings found within the Data Savings menu are intended for users who are connecting from a mobile device or those connecting to networks performing under the recommended bandwidth requirements for optimal use of V.connct. 

By default, both the Webcam and Desktop Sharing  streams are enabled.

To conserve bandwidth, turn it off. When turned off any incoming/outgoing webcam or desktop sharing streams will not appear.
